Bluefin tuna fish once again in the highlights in Japan. Business tycoon Kyoto Kimura of Tokyo bought the tuna for the first auction of the year from the new fish market for 21.5 million rupees. This is a record. The weight of the fish was 278 kg. Kiyoshi Kimura is the owner of Sushi Restaurant Chain.
Kimura bought Tuna for the second time at the record price
- Kyōura, famously known as ‘Tuna King’, bid for 333.6 million yen for this fish, which is about 215 million in Indian Rupees. The price put in 2013 is double than 155 million yen (9 crores 93 lakh). In 2013, only Kimura had paid the price.
- Kimura said, “This is the best tuna. I managed to buy a tasty, extremely fresh tuna. In fact, as the thought was, the price was more than that. But, I hope our customers will be able to taste this great tuna. “
