Just before the Lok Sabha elections in New Delhi, the problems of BSP chief Mayawati are increasing. In fact, hearing the case of elephant statues in Noida, Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi asked Mayawati’s lawyer to ask her client to deposit the money spent on idols in the official treasury. CJI said that our initial consideration is that Madam Mayawati should give all the money to idols from her pocket. On Mayawati, Satish Mishra said that the hearing of this case should be done after May but the Chief Justice said that do not force us to say anything else. Now, in this case, the hearing will be on April 2.
Let the Supreme Court hearing on the matter whether the expenditure on the construction of sculptures of Mayawati and BSP election symbols should be recovered from BSP or not. The petitioner Ravi Kant has been charged by the BSP from the Supreme Court for the expenditure incurred on the construction of a statue of the crores for the sculptures of Mayawati and BSP election symbols. The petitioner Ravi Kant said in the Supreme Court that government money can not be spent in this way. The government’s action was inappropriate and should be heard on this. Ravi Kant, filed a public interest petition in the Supreme Court in 2009, demanded the recovery of crores of rupees from the BSP on the construction of the statue.
